Prominent Cattleman Lowell Minert of Dunning passed away Thursday, Sept. 29 at CHI Health-Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
Minert was part of the family-owned Minert-Simonson Angus Ranch, at Dunning. He had served on the Nebraska State Fair Board and in 2002 he was chair of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board.
He also served twice as president of the Nebraska Angus Association.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 8th at 11:00 AM at the Sandhills High School Gymnasium in Dunning.
