Plane makes emergency landing in cornfield near Eustis

A small single-engine airplane made an emergency landing in a cornfield near the Frontier and Dawson County line Friday.

The Frontier County Sheriff's Office reported that the plane had two occupants, neither of whom were injured. The identities of the pilot and passenger are unavailable at this time. It is also unclear what the plane's point of origin and destination were. KRVN will update the story as these details become available.

The Frontier County Sheriff's Office said Dawson County authorities alerted them to the incident at 6:02 p.m. Friday.

The plane landed in a cornfield near the intersection of county roads 750 and 419, a few miles north of Eustis.
