Lexington Police Report
04-02-14 1140 hrs Unauthorized use of a financial device. Visa Debit Card taken during a burglary in North Platte. One transaction completed in Lexington Wal-Mart and several were denied. Subject also used other stolen cards.
04-02-14 1339 hrs Shoplifting Complaint taken of a shoplifting that occurred at Dollar General. LPD officer conducted follow-up and located one of the two women in the surveillance video the following day. Kasie Moore, 30 year old Lexington female, was cited into court for Shoplifting.
04-02-14 1740 hrs Motor Vehicle Theft Vehicle reported stolen in the 400 block of S Adams. 17 year old Lexington male was cited for Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Vehicle was located and stopped in Kearney.
04-02-14 1950 hrs Probation Violation Jorge Vasquez-Avila, 18 year old Lexington male was arrested for a probation violation in the 500 block of S Washington. Jailed.
04-03-14 2139 hrs Warrant Juan Fernando Sanchez was arrested on three active Dawson County arrest warrants for failure to appear in court on original charges of assault on an officer, resisting arrest, DUI, no operator's license, and aiding and abetting. Located in the 600 block of W Pacific. Jailed
04-03-14 2302 hrs Motor Vehicle Theft 05 Black Hyundai Accent stolen from the 1300 of Erie.
04-04-14 1453 hrs Hit and Run Accident 95 Toyota Corolla received damage to the left front while parked in the 800 block of West Maple. Appears to have been caused by an implement with tractor type tires.
04-04-14 2038 hrs Drug Possession Traffic stop on S Hwy 283 near Walmart for fictitious plates. Kimberly Marino, 48 from Lexington, was issued a citation for fictitious plates. Oliver Bush, 49 from Lexington, was issued a citation to appear in court for possession of marijuana under an ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container and no insurance. Oliver Bush was the owner of the car.
04-05-14 0703 hrs DUI LPD responded to Kirk's Truck Stop (DCSO was busy on other calls) in reference to a drunk driver. LPD had contact with Jesus Colimote Avalos, 38 year old Lexington man. Jesus tested at .201 grams of alcohol per 210L of breath. Jesus was transported to Dawson County Jail and charged with driving under the influence (+.15) and no operator's license.
04-05-14 2032 hrs DUI 17 year old Juvenile was issued a citation to appear in court for DUI 1st, Refusal to submit to a chemical test, Minor in possession of alcohol and No OPS. He was then released to his mother. Karina Magana-Ruiz, 21 year old Lexington female, was cited for Open Container. Jose Ricardo Velasquez, 21 year old Lexington male, was cited for Open Container and procuring alcohol to a minor. Marvin Yovani Hernandez-Velasquez, 26 year old Lexington male, was cited for Open Container.
04-05-14 2237 hrs Disorderly Conduct Sara Sims, 30 year old Lexington female, was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and Criminal Mischief. Incident occurred in the 600 block of W 8th. Sims allegedly assaulted her boyfriend, threw his belongings outside and damaged them with bleach.
04-05-14 2320 hrs Domestic Assault Bryan Zepeda Larrave, 18 year old Lexington male was arrested for Domestic Assault. He allegedly assaulted his girlfriend in the 900 block of Erie.
04-05-14 2343 hrs Warrant Angie Pena, 42 yr old Lexington female, arrested on a Buffalo County warrant for FTP on a DUS. 600 block of Monroe.
04-06-14 0051 hrs DUI Traffic stop in the 1100 block of Plum Creek Parkway. Jesse Cardenas, 41 year old Lexington male, was charged with DUI 2nd . Test of .128. Jailed. Ruben Herrera-Arrieta, 44 year old Lexington male, was cited for Open Container.
04-06-14 0637 hrs DUI Jimmy Cordero, 22 year old Lexington male, was arrested for DUI with a test of .151. An accident was reported where two vehicles had been ran into and the suspect left the scene. Officers arrived and Cordero made contact with officers.
04-06-14 0850 hrs Criminal Mischief, two vehicles had windows broken out in the 400 block of S Adams. $300 damage each.
04-06-14 0914 hrs Assault 52 year old victim reported being assaulted the prior evening at a bar when he left . He was unable to identify the person who allegedly hit him. (Steve Marsh is Victim) Injuries, but may have occurred from a fall.
