Scottsbluff Off to State FFA Convention

FFA students are packing in preparing for the 85th Nebraska State FFA Convention. The panhandle will be well - represented with members from area chapters attending the state competition. Scottsbluff FFA Co - Advisor Bob Pedulla has a large delegation that qualified for state this year. Twenty five Scottsbluff High School students will compete in 12 individual and team events during state wide competition, three students will receive their state degree and one member is running for a state officer position. Pedulla says his students have had a great year.

Scottsbluff Senior Chrissy Peters has made it into the finals for a state officer position. Pedulla says its been a long time since Scottsbluff has had a student apply to become a state FFA officer. The state FFA Convention will be held April 3 - 5th in Lincoln at the Pershing Center Auditorium, University of Nebraska East Campus and the Cornhusker Merriott.
