International Grain Buyers Heading for Minneapolis
Export Exchange 2012 will take place in Minneapolis October 22nd through the 24th. Nearly 200 international buyers from 32 countries will be on hand for the marketing event co-sponsored by the U.S. Grains Council and Renewable Fuels Association. The goal is to provide timely insights about international markets for U.S. corn, sorghum, barley and their co-products. The event also offers an opportunity for the more than 300 U.S. attendees - representing every link of the U.S. coarse grains export chain - to network with the foreign buyers responsible for more than 60-percent of U.S. foreign sales of barley, sorghum, corn, DDGS and other co-products.
Ahead of Export Exchange 2012 - a team of Mexican sorghum feed grain buyers are getting a first-hand look at the quality of sorghum produced in Texas. The U.S. Grains Council, United Sorghum Checkoff Program and Texas Grain Sorghum Producers joined forces to host the team of buyers from the Yucatan Peninsula and Central Mexico region.
