Farm Bill Now Coalition Urges Americans to Stand Up for New Farm Bill

The Farm Bill Now Coalition - comprised of 39-ag organizations in the U.S. - are raising awareness of the need for a new, comprehensive, five-year farm bill to be passed by Congress before the end of September. The Coalition says the farm bill isn't just that - it's also a jobs bill, food bill, conservation bill, research bill, energy bill, trade bill - a bill affecting every American. The legislation affects the nation's ability to provide life necessities for a global population. In the U.S. alone - the coalition says the legislation affects an industry providing 23-million American jobs - which is makes up one in every 12 jobs.
