Hal L. Mustard, 80, Kearney, Nebraska

Hal L. Mustard, 80 of Kearney passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. James H. DeLoach officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be 2:30 P.M. at the Christ Lutheran Cemetery in rural Oconto. Hal was born December 28, 1931 in Clarks, Nebraska to Earl and Dorathy (Dittmer) Mustard. He grew up in Clarks, Nebraska and received his education at the Clarks High School. Hal was united in marriage to Betty Camin in Fremont, Nebraska. He was employed as an auto mechanic, industrial painter, farmer and rancher, Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS), Dawson County Weed Control Authority and as a fence building contractor for over 30 years. Hal lived in several places including; Clarks, Hastings, Buffalo and Overton, before moving to Kearney in 2009. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed woodworking, fishing, reading and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Betty of Kearney; son, Larry Mustard and wife, Rebecca of Buffalo, Nebraska; daughters, Sandra Eggleston and husband, Dan of Oconto, Nebraska and Wendy Denman of Papillion, Nebraska; grandchildren, Derek Eggleston, Jared Eggleston and wife, Madiera, Amber Denman, Jennifer (Mustard) Prophet and husband, Samuel, Ashley Denman, Jill (Mustard) Tetherow and husband, Chad, Brett Eggleston and Jacob Mustard; great grandchildren, Micah, Darius, Cade, Kellen, Noah, Ariana, and Averyl Eggleston; sisters, Darlene Danklesen of Central City, Virginia Kinney of Norfolk, Marilyn Nelson of Landers, California, Wilma Williams of Norfolk, Irma Janulewicz and husband, Jim of Clarks; brother, Robert Mustard and wife, Mildred of Central City.

Hal was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl and Lloyd Mustard and his sister, Faye Wagner
