College offering dual degree program
YORK, Neb. (AP) _York College has made arrangements with Washington University in St. Louis to offer a dual degree program in engineering.
According to reports, the program requires a student to complete three years at York College, obtaining credits for science, math, computer science and general electives.
The student then transfers to Washington University to complete the final two years of the program, focusing on engineering.
The student would graduate with two bachelor's degrees: a liberal arts degree from York College and an engineering degree from Washington.
The program begins with the fall semester of 2013.
