Felsa Elaine Lenon, 91 years of age of Clermont, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Clermont. Felsa was born on July 3, 1922 on the family farm, east of Holdrege in Phelps County, Nebraska, the second of four children born to Andrew P. and Sadie A. (Bivens) Anderson. She received her primary education in rural Phelps County at District #26 and then attended Holdrege High School, graduating with the class of 1940.

On April 26, 1942, she was united in marriage to Robert D. Lenon and to this union one son was born, Larry Lee. They made their home in Holdrege, where Felsa worked at Miller's Ice Cream Plant for 10 years. She was then employed at the office of Dr. Embury and Dr. Anderson as the head receptionist from 1971 until her retirement in 1982. Following retirement, she worked in various businesses in town as a store clerk.

Felsa was a loyal member of the First Baptist Church in Holdrege. She was an avid bowler, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert and Felsa loved to travel in their later years, visiting friends and family along the way. In August, 2007, Felsa and Bob relocated to Clermont, to be near their son and his family.

Besides her parents, Felsa was preceded in death by three brothers: one in infancy, and Andrew Anderson Jr. and Clinton A. Anderson; and two sisters, Zola Garcia and Veneta Allander.

Felsa leaves to mourn her passing; her husband, Bob of Clermont; one son, Larry Lenon and his wife, Fern of Clermont; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Anderson of Greeley, Colorado and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Felsa's honor and will be designated at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.
