Southern Nebraska highway project scheduled
LAWRENCE, Neb. (AP) _ Work is scheduled to begin next week on a 10-mile stretch of Nebraska Highway 4 in southern Nebraska.
The project runs from the U.S. Highway 281 junction east to Lawrence.
The Nebraska Roads Department says the project will include culvert work, grading, asphalt overlay and seeding.
In spots traffic will be rerouted to a temporary gravel road and controlled with traffic signals. Otherwise, traffic will be controlled by flaggers and a pilot vehicle. The work is expected to be finished by late September.
