Elizabeth Jane B.J. Robinson, 75, of Holdrege, (formerly of Stamford, Nebraska)

Funeral Services for Elizabeth Jane "B.J." Robinson will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, Nebraska with Pastor Lana Dake, officiating. Following traditional funeral services, cremation will take place and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Elizabeth Jane "B.J." Robinson, 75 years of age, of Holdrege, (formerly of Stamford, Nebraska) passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Holdrege Memorial Homes. B.J. was born December 21, 1937 at Fort Lewis, Washington, the daughter of Otto O. and Theresa K. (Kanton) Allen. She received her primary at Fort Lewis, Washington and later completed her education at Igloo, South Dakota.

On June 29, 1968 she was united in marriage to Leslie Horace Robinson and to this union one son, Bill was born. The family made their home for a short time in Minnesota. In 1986, the family moved to Nebraska and made their home in several communities in South Central Nebraska including: Kearney, Holdrege, Alma and Stamford. On July 24, 2002 she was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie.

Throughout B.J.'s career she devoted her life to developmental caregiving, which included her employment with Bethphage Mission in Holdrege as a caregiver for over 23 years until her retirement.

She loved to travel, enjoyed camping, was an avid collector of porcelain dolls and most of all loved spending time with her family.

Besides her parents and husband, Leslie; she was preceded in death by four sisters: Laurie, Marian, Myrtle and Marguerite.

B.J. leaves to mourn her passing; her son, Bill Robinson and his wife, Nicole of Stamford; three grandchildren: Jarrod Robinson of Orleans, Nebraska, Stefanee Robinson of Lansing, Michigan, and Shayla Robinson of Stamford; two great-grandsons: Adrian and Fallon Robinson; three sisters: Virginia Markin and her husband, Bill of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Gwen Maas of Brownwood, Texas, and Barb Breen and her husband, Mark of Holdrege; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with the family greeting from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege.

A memorial has been established in B.J.'s honor and kindly suggested to the Holdrege Memorial Homes or Mosaic of Holdrege.
