Pictures of bank robber released

Authorities have released pictures from surveillance video of the suspect that robbed the Valley Bank location at Beltline Highway and Broadway, getting away with an unknown amount of money. The suspect is still at large.

Scottsbluff Police Captain Brian Wasson says the white male entered the bank, gave the teller a note demanding money and after money was received he fled on foot to the west.

The suspect is described by bank employees as 5' 10" tall, 200 pounds, with a light reddish colored thin goatee. The male wore sunglasses and a black stocking cap as well as a black hoodie sweatshirt, light colored or faded blue jeans.

Police are continuing to search for the suspect. The robbery occurred at 2:07 this afternoon.

Police encourage the public to use Scotts Bluff County Crimestoppers at 632-STOP (5867) to provide anonymous tips about the man's whereabouts.
