Neb. man faces drug charges after traffic stop
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (AP) _ A North Platte man faces drug charges in connection with a traffic stop several months ago.
The North Platte Police Department says 24-year-old Joshua Malsbury was arrested Saturday.
Police first stopped Malsbury during a routine traffic stop on Sept. 1. They seized drug paraphernalia that was sent to a state laboratory. Residue from the items later tested positive for cocaine and methamphetamine.
Malsbury was arraigned Monday in Lincoln County Court. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance and cocaine possession.
Malsbury has a preliminary hearing scheduled on Jan. 2. Court records do not list an attorney.
