Lexington Fire Department responds to 42 fire and rescue calls in March

The Lexington Volunteer Fire Department responded to 30 rescue and 12 fire calls in the month of March.

Three of the fire calls were for grass fires. Two were for dumpster fires. One was for a structure fire, another a cooking fire, and one a semi-cattle truck fire.

26 of the 30 rescue calls were for Medical Assist EMS.
