Pilger tornadoes damage several feedlots

Along with people in the small towns of Pilger and Stanton, northeast Nebraska farmers are assessing the damage after yesterday's Monday's rare twin tornadoes.

At least five feedyards sustained significant damage in the storm that ripped through portions of Stanton, Cuming, and Wayne counties. Among the feedyards affected was past President of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association JD Alexander. Cuming County Livestock Feeders President Steve Ott tells RRN's Chad Moyer they're still trying to assess the damage.
