Information Sought in Missing Person Case

The Nebraska State Patrol in conjunction with the Dawes and Box Butte County Sheriff's Offices continues to seek information in the December 2011 disappearance of 38-year old Joshua Bullock of Denver.

Bullock was last seen around 2 p.m. on December 1, 2011, after visiting family members in Alliance. He was believed to be headed to Colorado, but has not been seen or heard from since.

On December 14, 2011, a rancher notified authorities of a pickup in a ravine on his property east of Chadron. The 1999 Dodge Ram pickup was identified as belong to Bullock.

Bullock, 38, is a white male, 5'8", 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has ties to the Alliance and Chadron areas in Nebraska as well as the Arvada, Northglenn and Denver areas in Colorado.

"While this remains an active case, we have very little to go on," said Investigative Services Lt. Monica Bartling, "We are reaching out to the public for information that can further our investigation and help us locate Josh."

Bullock's information has been entered into the Nebraska Missing Persons Clearinghouse and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. A "Help Find Josh Bullock" Facebook page has also been established by friends and family.
