Wyoming Forage Field Day In Lingle
Alfafa and hay production will be center of the Wyoming Forage Field Day near Lingle. The event will be held at the University of Wyoming Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Center on Thursday, June 27th.
In a interview with KNEB/Rural Radio Network, Wyoming Business Council Agribusiness Division spokesperson Donn Randall says the field day will feature the latest in alfalfa production.
The Forage Field Day will feature presentations on forage management including the economics of forage fertility results and irrigation practices for alfalfa. With new technology, Randall says producers are often times over watering their crop.
The field day will also highlight hay marketing strategies and new potential hay markets .
In having the field day at SAREC, attendees will be to see the forage and equipment demonstrations.
