Woman allegedly leaves three children in car

A 23-year-old Lexington woman was cited on suspicion of child abuse late Friday night. According to Lexington Police Chief Tracy Wolf, it occurred in a store parking lot around 11:30pm. Vicktoria Ramirez is suspected of leaving her three children unattended in a car. Their ages are two, one and 3 months.


On April 9th, a IPhone 5 was reported stolen at a Lexington school. The school resource officer recovered it using the Find My Phone app. The victim declined to file charges.


On April 11th, a fraud investigation was opened in which the victim reported she had sent $815 to Mexico after she was told that a cousin was detained at the border and needed to pay that amount for his release. The amount was paid and then the complainant learned that the cousin was at home.


On Saturday, a shoplifting was reported at a downtown store. Several items of clothing were taken and the glass in the front door to the business was broken. $90 in clothing was taken and many items were recovered in the alley. $500 damage to the door. A 30-year-old Lexington woman was identified and is being sought by Lexington Police Department.
