NPCC to host 'Transfer Day'

Students at North Platte Community College who are interested in continuing their education have the opportunity to meet with representatives from a number of colleges on February 12th.

NPCC calls the event "Transfer Day" and it will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fireplace Area at the school's South Campus.

A statement from NPCC said representatives from various colleges are expected to attend.

Colleges such as CSC, UNL, UNK, UNO, Bellevue and Peru plan to participate. New to Transfer Day this year will be University of Phoenix, Kaplan University, Southeast Community College (for their health programs), Black Hills University, and S.D. School of Mines.

Representatives from American Public University, Fort Hays University, Clarkson, Midland, Hastings College and Bryan LGH also plan to attend. Mid-Plains Community College has various articulations with each of these schools.
