In a interview with KNEB/Rural Radio Network Stateline Coop Field Specialist Dave Dietrich says the tour provides a tour of area irrigated and dryland fields.
Despite being planted in dry ground in March, followed by snow, snow, feezing temperatures and now heat, the crop faired well. Dietrich says the cold weather in April and May didn't set back the crop.

Lanoy is a farmer from North Dakota who has around 15 years experience in growing yellow peas.
