Retired exec joining Nebraska Game and Parks board
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ A retired Omaha business executive has been named to the Nebraska Game and Parks Board of Commissioners.
The office of Gov. Dave Heineman said Tuesday that he's appointed Dick Bell to represent District 2, which encompasses Douglas County. The vacancy was created by the Nov. 28 death of Commissioner Ron Stave, of Omaha.
Bell will serve the remainder of the term, through January 2016. Bell was chairman and CEO of HDR Inc., an Omaha-based, global firm that provides architecture, engineering, consulting, construction and related services through its operating companies.
