The Nebraska State Patrol once again hosted a surprise commercial vehicle inspection today, this time making stops in Scottsbluff in Gering.
During the special enforcement effort, the Metropolitan Aggressive and Prevention Selective (MAPS) Teams conducted 40 inspections, discovered 165 violations, and took 16 vehicles out of service. Additionally, two drivers were taken out of service for not having a CDL, one for a log book violation, and one for driver qualifications.
Officer issued a total of $3,475 in fines during Thursday’s enforcement in the Valley.
