The 8th annual Scotts Bluff Valley Fiber Arts Fair will be going on this weekend, kicking off with a variety of classes going on today at the Harms Advanced Technology Center in Scottsbluff.
Organizer Judy Wilson says participants there were learning new skills and techniques, focusing on knitting, crocheting, quilting and fabric arts, spinning, weaving, felting, yarn dyeing, traditional rug hooking and more.
Wilson says the Fiber Arts Fair continues Saturday at the Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds Events Center in Mitchell. It will be open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be 22 vendors with supplies for making your own products and different handmade items.
