(AUDIO/VIDEO) Peacock makes its way onto West Point Man’s Property

A Guineafowl has made its way to the property of West Point resident Terry Papstein. Papstein says part of the Guineafowl resembles a peacock.

Papstein says the Guineafowl comes from the West Point Exotic Bird and Animal Auction ran by Chris Nelson.

Papstein adds it has been hard to get close to the animal.

Papstein thinks it has been sleeping in the trees near his place to protect itself from wild animals.

He’s tried contacting Nelson, the Game Warden, the police, and the Henry Doorly Zoo, but hasn’t had any luck.

Inquiries about the Guineafowl can be made to this radio station and your information will be passed along to Papstein.
