(AUDIO) West Point Community Theatre Holding Actor’s Camp

(AUDIO) West Point Community Theatre Holding Actor’s Camp

West Point Community Theatre Actor’s Camp is being held all next week at the Theatre in West Point. Instructor Marlene Wiechman says the camp is being held to get kids acclimated to theater.

The pre-registration fee is $10, according to Wiechman.

Citizen’s State Bank is providing snacks.

Wiechman says kids will do improv and a couple one acts.

Wiechman says the plays they’re looking at are Alice in Wonderland and Goldilocks on Trial.

There will be costumes, kids will have a chance to help make sets, and there will be opportunities to do lights and microphones as well.

She adds there will be a public performance Friday evening.

The performance is free will donation.

Wiechman says the theatre will still have a movie that night as well.
