The latest National Weather Service forecast includes a winter weather advisory until noon. But then it’s replaced with a wind chill advisory until noon tomorrow.
We could still see up to another half inch of blowing snow this morning. But the big story is the strong winds gusting to 40 miles per hour dropping wind chills as low as 30 below zero tonight.
The effected area includes portions of east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska as well as southwest and west central Iowa.
Watch out for slippery road conditions and reduced visibility this morning.
