A Morrill, Nebraska man was arraigned Thursday on charges related to a burglary reported Wednesday at a rural Gosper County residence. According to court records, a man reported that a tire was taken off a pickup that was parked in front of his residence. Several drills and a circular saw was also taken from a building. The victim reported that he owed money to a man. During the investigation, a suspect was developed according to Sheriff Dennis Ocken. It resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Dustin Easton on multiple charges. An Overton address was also listed for Easton in his booking information. Sheriff Dennis Ocken says all of the stolen items have been recovered.
Easton was arraigned in Gosper County Court on charges of Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of a Concealed Weapon and Possession of a Defaced Firearm. His bond was set at 10% of $20,000 and his next court hearing was scheduled for September 2, 2016 at 11:00am.
