Cozad’s 100th Meridian Museum to host ‘Remembering Our Fallen’

Cozad’s 100th Meridian Museum to host ‘Remembering Our Fallen’

The 100th Meridian Museum in Cozad will host the ‘Remembering Our Fallen’ exhibit September 7 – 12. The exhibit will be on display at the museum from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day, with an opening ceremony planned for Thursday, September 8 beginning at 10 a.m. The opening ceremony will include presentations by local dignitaries. Area families, whose loved ones are on the display will be recognized and honored.

On display will be photos of the 95 ‘fallen soldiers’ from Nebraska. Soldiers included will be SSG (staff sergeant) Jeffrey J. Hansen, Bertrand; Michael B. Doheny, Broken Bow; SGT Justin J. Duffy, Cozad; SGT Dustin A. Von Loh, Elm Creek; SGT Dennis A. Corral, Kearney; SGT David M. McKeever, Kearney; SGT Jason B. Libal, Lexington; SGT Randy J. Matheny, McCook and PFC Nicole M. Gembala, North Platte.

The exhibit will come with a DVD of photos taken in Iraq and Afghanistan.
