Dodge County, Neb. — The Nebraska State Patrol says an Endangered Missing Advisory for an eastern Nebraska man has been cancelled. 82 year old Bob Bales of Dodge County has been found and he is safe. Someone spotted the missing man and telephoned authorities. NSP Public Relations Director Cody Thomas says Bales had apparently run his vehicle into a ditch along a county road and gotten stuck. Bales was found this morning after 9:00 a.m. Bales is OK, but has been taken to the hospital to be checked out. Thomas says Bales was in the vehicle not far from where he was reported missing.
Thomas says, “It was along the county line between Washington and Dodge (counties).” Bales, had last been seen around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near 1500 County Road R in Dodge County. Bales left a relative’s house to return to his home near 1900 County Road R North.

Authorities are looking for Bob Bales, who was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near 1500 County Road R in Dodge County. Bales left a relative’s house to return to his home near 1900 County Road R North.
Authorities say Bales has heart issues and is easily confused and hard of hearing.
Bales was driving a navy blue 2010 Dodge Dakota with Nebraska commercial license plates 5-4166A. He was last seen wearing a light blue jacket, plaid shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap.
