A 47 year old Scottsbluff man is dead after a Tuesday evening single vehicle rollover accident near Henry.
Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman said that Timothy Garner was traveling southbound on County Road 3 just south of the intersection of County Road A when he lost control of his vehicle around 7:35 p.m.
Garner’s vehicle then ran off the road to the right when it entered a cornfield and rolled several times. Garner, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Overman said that alcohol and excessive speed are suspected as contributing factors.
Garner was the lone occupant in the vehicle.
The Lyman and Morrill Police Departments, Morrill Fire Department, and Valley Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
