THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OMAHA HAS ISSUED A * FLOOD WARNING FOR… SOUTHEASTERN STANTON COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA… NORTHWESTERN DODGE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA… NORTHEASTERN PLATTE COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA… CUMING COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA… WESTERN BURT COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEBRASKA… NORTHERN COLFAX COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA… * UNTIL 530 PM CDT FRIDAY. * AT 837 AM CDT…EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED WIDESPREAD FLOODING IN THE NORTHERN PART OF COLFAX COUNTY. SEVERAL COUNTY ROADS AND OTHER LOW-LYING AREAS ARE UNDER WATER. OBSERVED RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF SIX INCHES HAVE OCCURRED IN THE WARNING AREA. * SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE… WEST POINT…WISNER…LYONS…BEEMER…CLARKSON…DODGE… HOWELLS…BANCROFT…LEIGH…PLATTE CENTER…SNYDER…CRESTON… CRAIG…OAKLAND…LAKE OCAONEE…THE HIGHWAY 15 AND 32 JUNCTION… 8 MILES SOUTH OF STANTON…10 MILES WEST OF WEST POINT… MAPLE CREEK RECREATION AREA AND THE HIGHWAY 9 AND 51 JUNCTION.
