NORFOLK, Neb. (AP) _ A grand jury has decided not to pursue any charges related to the death of a Norfolk man involved in a standoff with law enforcement officers. The jury released its decision Wednesday after a hearing that began Tuesday and covered what led up to and occurred during the standoff by 47-year-old Cory Dittman. Under state law, a grand jury is convened to investigate any time a person dies in police or state custody or while being arrested. Police say his body was found by officers who entered the home late June 9 or early June 10. Police say he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities say the standoff began the morning of June 9 after Dittman shot 63-year-old Leone Bussey, who has since undergone surgery.
