New Leader at KRMC to be Bill Calhoun, MBA, FACHE
Kearney, Neb. – Kearney Regional Medical Center announced the hiring of Bill Calhoun as the new Chief Executive Officer. Calhoun comes to Kearney Regional from the state of Florida where he was President of Hospital Operations for Health First, an independent healthcare system in central Florida. Calhoun will begin his role as CEO at Kearney Regional on April 18th.

Prior to his role as President for Health First, Bill was the President and Regional Vice President for Affinity Health System and Ministry Health Care for the Eastern Region of Wisconsin and President of Mercy Medical Center.

Kearney Regional has spent the past many months on a national search for the CEO position. “We were fortunate to have an outstanding group of qualified applicants through this search,” stated Steve Beck, Director of Human Resources at Kearney Regional. “To select Mr. Calhoun from such a talented pool of healthcare professionals is a testament to his abilities and background in healthcare. We look forward to seeing Bill bring those qualities into the KRMC family.”

Bill is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and advanced training in healthcare administration from the University of Wisconsin – Superior.
