MILFORD – A single vehicle roll-over accident south of Milford sent a 16-year-old male to the hospital Friday. The Seward County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 266th Road and Yankee Hill Road or approximately six miles southwest of Milford.

Authorities determined the Nissan Altima driven by the Milford teen was traveling eastbound on Yankee Hill when it went off the roadway and into the left ditch, before overturning into a field. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was then flown by Star Care to Bryan LGH West where he is being treated for critical injuries.

Seatbelt usage is unknown at this time, but the sheriff’s office is still investigating.
