Nebraska jobless rate unchanged at 2.8 percent in March

 Lincoln, Neb. — The Nebraska Labor Department says the preliminary March unemployment rate of 2.8 percent is unchanged from the February figure.
The department said in a news release Friday that the rate is down two-tenths of a point from the 3 percent of March 2017.Last month’s rate also remained well below the U.S. figure, which was unchanged at 4.1 percent.

Nebraska Labor Commissioner John Albin says the number of employed workers in the state labor force climbed by nearly 1,800 during March.
