Cozad, Ne. — The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a single-vehicle accident at 7:04 a.m. north of Cozad. According to information from Lt. Tucker Case, the crash occurred about 8 miles north of Cozad on Road 421 and approximately Road 770.

A 2015 Silver Dodge Journey driven by 21 year old Kaitlin Myers of Lexington failed to negotiate the curve in the road. The vehicle ran off the road striking a large pile of crushed concrete and coming to rest on top of the pile.
