Panhandle Health Group replacement providers announced

The Region 1 Behavioral Health Authority Governing Board announced Friday they have selected and entered into contract negotiations with four agencies to provide services currently being offered by Panhandle Health Group offices in Scottsbluff, Kimball, Alliance and Sidney.

The four agencies are Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (CAPWN), Mental Health Alliance (MHA), Karuna Counseling, Inc., and Cirrus House, Inc. The four agencies, beginning July 1st, will provide medication management, mental health and substance abuse inpatient and outpatient services and provide a 24 Hour Crisis Line for Mental Health in the 11 counties in the Panhandle.

A Community Focus Group meeting will be held May 22nd at the Cirrus House Conference Room beginning at 10 a.m. where consumers and members of the community can provide additional information regarding the transition of services. Questions may also be answered by calling 1-833-889-403. Ask to speak with David Jones, Region 1 Consumer Care Specialist.
