“Pulling for a Purpose” to benefit Special Olympics

“Pulling for a Purpose” to benefit Special Olympics

 

Join Special Olympics Nebraska and the Law Enforcement Torch Run on Saturday, June 3rd at the annual Airport Appreciation Day at the West Nebraska Regional Airport, sponsored by the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association for a truck pulling event.

Teams will be pulling an airport crash rescue truck that weighs 48,800 pounds. Each team will pull the truck fifteen (15) feet. The team that pulls the truck in the shortest time is the event champion.

10 people to a team, $20 per person.

Pulling starts at 11:00 AM with registration starting at 9:30 AM. To enter the facility, simply look for the Federal Express Trucks at the gate just south of the airport terminal. the You can bring cash or checks (made out Special Olympics Nebraska) to the registration tent where you will be given your pulling order and asked to sign the waiver form.
