A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car in downtown Scottsbluff Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:50 p. m. Scottsbluff Police along with Scottsbluff Fire/Rescue and Valley Ambulance responded to the scene at 19th and Broadway. Capt. Tony Straub says information received at the scene indicated the pedestrian was walking eastbound across Broadway when he was struck by a vehicle that had just turned south onto Broadway from E. 19th Street.
In a release, Straub says the pedestrian was seriously injured and transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance. The accident is currently still under investigation and further details will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
Names of those involved have not been released.
