OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Snow continues to fall across much of Nebraska and western Iowa.

The National Weather Service says several more inches of snow are expected to fall Sunday on parts of the two states. By the time the storm is finished Monday morning, 5-to-8 inches of snow total are expected in parts of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa.

Roughly 5 inches of snow had fallen in the Omaha area by Sunday morning. Across the river, 7 inches of snow was reported in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

In north-central Nebraska, as much as 14 inches of snow was reported in Cherry County.
