Two Billings, Montana residents are in custody after leading a Wyoming State Trooper on an early morning chase northwest of Cheyenne on Monday.
According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 25 year old Justin Fuller and 18 year old Taylor Graves were both taken into custody after the vehicle chase and a brief foot pursuit ended in a pasture.
Just after midnight early Monday morning, Troopers were dispatched to a Corvette driving erratic on Interstate 25 southbound. A Trooper located the vehicle just north of Cheyenne on I-25. As the Trooper attempted to catch up, the Corvette, driven by Fuller, began to travel northbound in the southbound lanes of I-25.
The Corvette exited I-25, still going the wrong way, and the pursuit traversed through multiple county roads, pastures and one residential yard.
The Patrol says once Fuller stopped the Corvette in a pasture, both he and Graves took off on foot. Both Fuller and Graves were eventually caught by Troopers and Deputies with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and were taken into custody.
The 2013 Corvette was reported stolen out of Billings on September 20th, 2016. Speeds during the pursuit reached 145 mph.
Fuller and Graves were both taken to the Laramie County Detention Center in Cheyenne. Fuller has been charged with possession of stolen property, impaired driving, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, interference, fleeing and eluding and reckless driving. Graves has been charged with possession of stolen property and interference.
