U.S. gasoline & diesel prices continue to decrease

U.S. gasoline & diesel prices continue to decrease

Washington — The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline fell to $2.45 a gallon on Monday. That’s down 8.8 cents from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information
Administration (E.I.A.).

Pump prices were highest in the West Coast states at 3.24 a gallon, down 6.7 cents from a week ago.  Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast region at 2.12 a gallon, down 9.3 cents.

Triple A says the current average price of a gallon of regular in Nebraska is $2.25,  down 12 cents from a week ago.

The E.I.A.  says the  U.S. average retail price for on-highway diesel fuel fell to $3.21 a gallon on Monday.   That’s down 5.4 cents from a week ago.

Diesel prices were highest in the West Coast states at 3.69 a gallon, down 4 1/2 cents from a  week ago. Prices were lowest in the Gulf Coast states at 2.99 a gallon, down 4.6 cents.

Triple A says the current average price of  a gallon of  diesel fuel in Nebraska is $3.01. That’s down nearly 9 cents from a week ago.
