TAMORA, Neb. – A fire has devastated a property in the tiny Seward County town of Tamora.
According to Seward Volunteer Fire Chief, James Kimsey, his department was dispatched to 130 Chapman Ave. around 3 p.m. Wednesday, to a report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, a mobile home was full involved, as well as a car and an RV camper. After fighting the blaze for roughly an hour, the property was deemed extinguished. No injuries were reported.
It’s unclear if the home was occupied at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown. Multiple calls to Tamora Fire Chief, John Propst, have went unanswered.
Seward, Tamora, Utica, Goehner, and Garland Fire Departments responded to the scene.
