Temperatures around 90 degrees did not deter a large crowd from attending the “29th Annual West Point Road Gems Car Show” on Sunday.
Tens of thousands of people packed downtown West Point to see muscle cars, antique and vintage automobiles, motorcycles and trucks.
West Point Chevrolet Buick displayed some 2019 cars and pickups.
The aroma of grilled hamburgers filled the air , as did music from a couple of bands.
Nebraska Heisman trophy-winner Johnny “The Jet” Rogers signed autographs and sold Cornhusker memorabilia near Pizza Ranch during the Car Show.
The event was held from noon to 5pm.
