The Gosper County Highway Superintendent advises that work will soon begin on Johnson Lake Drive over the dam. Michael Snyder says it will involve asphalt overlay work on the west side of the drive for 9/10 of a mile from Highway 283 to Sandy Point East.
Paulsen, inc. of Cozad has the $330,070 contract. Travel will be restricted to one-lane traffic. A pilot vehicle will be used throughout the project. Delays will be minimal and it’s anticipated the project will be completed in about 2 weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to use caution when driving through construction zones.
