YORK – York High School senior Kylee Nixon signed her letter of intent on Monday to play softball at Concordia University.
Nixon finished the season with seven home runs, 42 RBI’s, batted .500 and only struck out once during 100 at bats for the Dukes. She helped guide York to the state tournament where the team placed fourth overall in the state. Nixon slugged two home runs and eight RBI’s in the state tournament.

Nixon will join a Concordia softball program that won 34 games last season and finished tied for second in the GPAC.

Nixon has also shined on the soccer field. Through three years, she has 21 goals, 37 assists and 79 points.
