Cadet Girls Golf Tied for 7th After Day One of State

NORTH PLATTE – Cold and rainy weather made for tough conditions during the first day of the Class C girls state golf meet at River’s Edge Golf Course in North Platte on Monday, Oct. 8. Despite the conditions, West Point-Beemer’s Brook Diekemper is currently tied for 5th after shooting a 15-over 88. Also for the Cadets, Shelbie Woerman shot a 116, Sophie Alson had a 118, Maddie Erb shot a 122 and Kailey Oswald had a 127. WP-B is currently in 7th place in the team standings.

Paige Peters of Thurston County finished day one with a 99 and Oakland-Craig’s Grace Pille shot a 133.

Tee times for Tuesday’s day two competition start at 9:30 am.
