Clarkson/Leigh Girls Come From Behind to Take Third at EHC Tournament

COLUMBUS – Clarkson/Leigh met met Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family in the third place game of the girls East Husker Conference Tournament on Saturday at Central Community College in Columbus.

Despite trailing 13-10 after the first quarter, the Bulldogs rallied in the second and took a 31-25 lead into halftime.

Throughout the second half, Clarkson/Leigh overcame a 12 point deficit, and would go on to beat H/LHF 52-47, claiming third place.

Kaegan Held had 15 points to lead the Patriots. Allie Schneider led three H/LHF players in double figures with 15 points.

Clarkson/Leigh improved to 17-3 with the win.
