Pairings for the event were announced on Thursday, June 7th by Caymax Sports LTD. Fans can purchase tickets online, starting July 1 at http://www.caymanislandsclassic.com/ot/tickets.html.

The winner of the Creighton/Boise State contest will meet up against the winner of the St. Bonaventure vs. Georgia State game. All eight teams will play three games while in the Cayman Islands from Nov. 19-21, with the games being held at John Gray Gymnasium, just minutes away from world famous Seven Mile Beach.

Creighton posted a 21-12 record last year, finishing third in the BIG EAST Conference, while advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in the last seven years. In McDermott’s tenure, CU is 25-5 in regular-season tournament action with four titles in eight completed events. Since 2002-03, Creighton is 39-9 (20-0 at home) with seven titles in 13 preseason tournaments.

Boise State went 23-9 last season, while playing in the NIT. The Broncos finished second in the Mountain West Conference with a 13-5 record.

Creighton and Boise State have met just once previously, a 83-70 Broncos win in Omaha on Nov. 28, 2012.

Located in the western Caribbean Sea, an hour from Miami, the Cayman Islands comprises the three islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman, located south of Cuba and northwest of Jamaica.
