YORK – The third annual Aurora and York boys golf dual was held Monday at the York Country Club. The Dukes won every match, led by Dawson Sandall’s eight hole victory and wound up winning the dual 19-0, keeping the Duskie Trophy in York.

Duke head coach Dan Malleck says he was thrilled with his team’s performance, “I was impressed that every one of our guys was able to win his match against quality players.  In this format, the players play all 18 holes and try to win by as many as they can for the team total.  The 19-0 margin was by far the largest win in the history of the series.  Reed and Caleb had a heck of a match as Reed shot 3-under par 32 on the front while Caleb shot 33.  They both cooled off a bit on the back to finish at 70 and 71.”
